Good Mexican Restauran Recommendations Needed
Tomorrow we were going to have another couple over and make margaritas and Mexican. But they can't come and I really feel like going out. Any recommendations for a good mexican restaurant? We live in Levittown, but are willing to drive somewhere. The only place I really like is Tequilla Sunrise in Bayside.

 I live right by there. No idea what it is?  Never seen it before? There is no Jericho tpke either. Hempstead Tpke?

Whatever you do, do NOT go to Don Juan in Westbury. They have the most disgusting Mexican Food EVER.
I dont know much about LI mexican restaurants, but Rosa Mexicana in the city is my fave.

I was very disappointed with Cabo, Went when it first opened and my MOH and I were so let down.
LOVE Pancho's in Island Park, right on Austin Blvd. They have the best Mexican, I won't go anywhere else!!!!!

Take it from a Cuban...good Spanish food is at a few of my favorite spots!
Maria's in Nesconset on Lake Avenue
La Panchita on Main Street in Smithtown
Casa Luis (Cuban) in Commack
and if you really want some good food....
Casa Vieja in Brentwood.
Now I need a margarita...

House of Spain on Merrick Road.
Hole in the wall place. Not Mexican, but Spanish food. It's incredible, and the portions are ridiculous!

Our favorite Mexican place would have to be Poco Loco in Roslyn. They make some kickass margaritas and it's in a cool atmosphere. it's an old house and you can sit outside if it's nice.

Wow - forgot about that place. My exboyfriend and I used to go there a lot b/c he lived up there - great food!

There i also a Pancho's closer to you on Hempstead Turnpike I think in Bethpage, I think it is right next to the SPortime place where you can play tennis

DH and I weren't impressed with Viva Juan in Centerport. (Such a shame b/c it's a great location.)
However we love Lila's Santa Fe Kitchen!!! (Great burgers & fries.)
