I prefer the stick kind of sunscreen because I can get everywhere and don't have to worry about breathing in the chemicals.

Love babyganics, I have the lotion, spray lotion and the stick and they all work amazing and its affordable. I do like Califonia baby but its more money.

Suntan lotion - which one and why?
Blue lizard - is my favorite and works great
it is easier to put on than California baby but gives great protection
I am allergic to almost every sunscreen and I can wear this - I have a terrible allergy to formaldehyde and because many chemicals in sunscreen break down into formaldehyde I can't wear them - but blue lizard does not cause any issue with my skin
I also like badger and California baby - but they are too thick and hard to apply well - also badger goes bad quickly - it can only be open for a month or so -

I bought two because I couldn't make up my mind. So far, I have used the Coppertone Water Babies Pure & Simple and have been pleased with it. I also bought BabyGanics.

This is why I love it and the fact that you can get it anywhere- Target, CVS, etc.
I also like that it goes on white- so you can see if you are missing any spots- then rubs in clear.
It doesn't have the "bad" ingrediant they warn against either.
It's also zinc based which my dermo says is great.

Coopertone Kids pure and simple waterproof 50SPF for my DD
and for my older DS's that are at camp all day I just got Coppertone wacky foam its 75SPF!!!! I rarely see anything that high but it is messy to put on

Safemama.com does not recommend Babyganics at all. This is from her website where she has the 2013 sunscreen cheat sheet:
FINALLY: One brand I will not include on any list is BabyGanics Sunscreen. I get TONS of questions about this one and I refuse to endorse it. It’s loaded with chemicals (to name a few; PEG, phenoxyethanol, dimethicone, polysorbate 60, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, and it uses chemical sunscreen ingredients). EWG rates it a TWO which blows my MIND. BabyGanics is Greenwashing at it’s finest.

This. My boys have sensitive skin and the sunscreen doesn't bother them at all. Works great.
