Summer Activities or Camp
What summer activities or camp are u LOs doing? I wanted to do a half day sport camp but they have to be fully potty trained and DS1 is not yet
I already signed him up for a swimming class for it's only 1/2 hr, once a week.

The yaphank farm program is pretty cool. We did it for the spring and DS1 had a great time!
How is the queens county farm? I wanna see if it's worth the trip

DS is in camp, but at that age, and still now, we do lots of library programs, and the beach every day. Our library does so many programs even at the bay so they're not stuck inside all day.

My son is 5, and LOVES his class at The Little Gym!! he does one called "chopsticks"-- so its the gymnastics stuff, with a little bit of karate mixed in. its perfect bc its like 5 or 6 boys his age that just run around together and get out all that extra energy. but the karate part makes him feel like its not too "girly" for him LOL we live in NJ though... not sure if theres a Little Gym on LI...

My friend that recommended it (debbys gym- I think in Bohemia) has her boys in it. Even both the dance classes dd was in had boy's in them.

Exactly! I don't want him to get stuck at home, and even though we have play dates, I'd like to have a fun routine to follow every week. I'll check my new library, hopefully they have a good variety of programs for LOs

I looked up their website and it looks pretty cool! They also offer a summer camp which it seems to include gymnastics, learning time, and snack. I just left a voice message, hopefully they'll call me before Monday cause it seems that's their first camp day.
