Re: suffolk obgyn....Three village

Not pg yet still ttc. but I use to be a Suffolk Obgyn patient, and I left there because I couldn't stand how large the office was. I felt like all they were worried about was getting paid. I felt rushed and after ttc for 8 months who no luck they dr said oh don't worry it will happen. I made an appointment with three village, and I love them. I see Dr. Kaelber, she is wonderful. They office decor is definitely not as nice at suffolk obgyn but they staff and drs seem to put more effort and time into their patients. Plus they deliver at Stony Brook.

Re: suffolk obgyn....Three village

i had DD with suffolk obgyn... i like all the drs, liked st charles- the only issue i ever had was one of the ladies behind the desk got very nasty with me when i tried to make an appt once...i left there in tears. They stopped taking my insurance, so i switched to 3 village for this preg, so far so good... office is not as new-feeling, but it is fine, the sono rooms at suffolk was nicer, but whatever... i have no complaints so far... 3 village delivers at stony brook...where they just redid the maternity floor and everyone gets a private room- so i am very excited about that... especially since im having a repeat c-section and I want to stay in the hosp as long as possible (last time i left a night early because my roommate was such a horribly loud snorer!)

here is their web site: http://www.threevillagewomenshealth.com/home

That is who I am seeing at my next appt! I am hoping to actually stick with a doc this time, everytime I get comfortable they switch out of my insurance. I use to see Dr. Lograno who was great. If I like Dr. Petraco I am just going to stay where I am (I live kind of far from the office but have been going there for 9 years!).

Re: suffolk obgyn....Three village

I go to Three Village in E Setatuket. So far they have met everyone of my expectations. They took me on a moments notice which is very hard to find and montiored me very thoroughly (i am high risk). The receptionists are Awesome very friendly and sweet. I agree the sono room is not the greatest (its small) but the techs are VERY good. The billing department is equally as good and I have to say I am very impressed with the staff. Not to mention Dr Davenport was rated one of LI's top 100 doctors.

I use Suffolk OB. Dr. Petraco delivered the not so good news about baby#1, and was very helpful to us. Then, he started the induction with B. Dr. Lograno, who we loved delivered B.

There are 1 or 2 doctors that I avoid just bc I don't like them.

I don't care that it is a large office and that they don't 'know' me when I go in. I loved St. Charles, so I will be using them again.

I go to Three Villiage. I go to the office in East Setauket. I love them! They are always kind and supportive. I have had two appoinments with them so far and I have never waited more than 10min to be seen.

Re: suffolk obgyn....Three village

I went to Suffolk obgyn years ago and thought they were ok.

When I got my BFP with #2 I had a different ins and they were one of only 2 offices that take my ins and deliver at St. Charles. When I called to make my initial appt the girl was kind of nasty on the phone with me. I told her I needed a night appt and she said she couldn't do it that I would just have to move stuff around so I could be there for the appt she gave me. Then when I got to the appt, while the dr was doing the exam she starts going on and on about my weight and how I shouldn't gain much weight with this pg. Like I'm not uncomfortable enough because you are doing basically a yearly exam but then you make comments on my weight. I left there almost in tears and decided to switch to the other office that took my ins.

Re: suffolk obgyn....Three village

I love all the doctors at Three Village. I Like the Patchogue office better than the East setauket because its closer to me and its always the fastest. SO far I have seen Dr. Vanessa Soviero, Dr. Deborah Davenport, Dr. Kaebler, and Dr. Philip Schonefeld. They were very professional and very kind. I have no complaints with them!!Chat Icon

I left suffolk obgyn because I hated it and they stopped their obstetrics program with my health insurance! Chat Icon I ended up at Three village and it was the best thing that I have done. I love all the doctors there...very personable...felt like a # not a patient at Suffolkobgyn...they had NO time for me as a patient, I felt. HIGHLY recommend 3 village.

Re: suffolk obgyn....Three village

I am not pregnant or TTC but I do go to Three Village and have to say they are great. I mostly see Dr. Spicer since I do not need an OB. My sister uses them too - she started right before she got pregnant with her second and continues to go there.

Their entire staff is responsive and nice. I had was having some problems and they did everything they could to help me and be patient with the nine million appoints I had to make.

edited for spelling.
