Re: Suffolk help!
Does he drive or would he take the train? If train, then he would probably want to be near a station that has frequent service, like Huntington, Babylon, Hicksville.
Give us an idea of how much you want to spend on a house; western Suffolk really varies in price.

Re: Suffolk help!
He drives because he is usually always at a different location and sometimes has to move a few times a day.
I would like to stay under $500,000 and be in a good school district. Thanks!!!

Re: Suffolk help!
I would check out Huntington, Greenlawn, East Northport on the north shore, Commack in the middle, and West/East Islip on the south.

I agree with this but watch where in Huntington some of the areas are sketchy... Hauppauge isnt bad either you could be right near LIE in Hauppauge..There are a few houses in my area Commack for sale.. Check out this one really good deal on MLS http://www.mlslirealtor.com/uniDetails.CFM?MLNum=1899989&typeprop=1&start=1&rpp=20 If I could I would pick this up...

I'd agree. Huntington is iffy in areas.
You'll really want your DH to test the commute before you move, especially the distance from the train and the frequency of trains.
