Suddenly not sleeping through the night

My DD has been sleeping through the night since 7 weeks. We moved her into her room/crib at 6 weeks and never looked back, she gives us 12-13 hour stretches. She just turned 16 weeks...and this past week she's been waking up several times in the middle of the night.
I don't give her a bottle when she wakes and she doesn't seem hungry.

I just went back to work Monday, could this have anything to do with her behavior? Chat Icon

I thought I remembered reading something on here where other people had something similar happen...and it was like a phase.

Any insight/advice/experiences would be appreciated since between her waking and me back to work, I am Chat Icon

Re: Suddenly not sleeping through the night

Just happened to us last night....hes 19 weeks...I think it has to do with teething...he had a very off day yesterday...he has been sttn since before 6 weeks, so this was an eye opener!

eta: I dont think it has anything to do with you going back to work....but I do notice throughout the day, if he is alone in the room (doesnt have to be me, can be anyone) that he is aware that no one is there and starts to cry...I think it could be happening at night too!Chat Icon

DS is almost 4 months and this started happening for us as well. It could be teething since he is a drooly mess. I hope for you it's just a phase and STTN will return.

I had this with DS1 at 4 months and it is starting with DS2 just as he hit the 4 month mark. It was short lived with DS1 and hoping it will be this time as well.

Re: Suddenly not sleeping through the night

Happened to DS at 4 months too....4 month regression Chat Icon It started with one bad night of teething and just never got better.

In our case, I ended up having to do CIO around 6-7 months old bc I just couldn't take the waking up 4-5 times a night anymore!
