Stupid question

sorry guys, but ive been reading all these posts and i feel soooo lost!! when you say CD is that when the cycle starts when your period is over? can someone give me a ttc for dummies please??

PS...thanks for the advice from my last post...i called my OB today and he agreed i can go off the pill this week after my period and i just started 800mg of folic acid pills today.

CD1 is the first day of your new cycle
It is the day you get your period; but not spotting; AF - actual flow

CD1 is the first day of AF - not spotting, but red blood (sorry, if tmi). That's the start of a new cycle.

When people refer to 1dpo or 3dpo or whatever, that is 1 day post-ovulation; it means your in your "two-week-wait (2ww)." Your 2ww means your luteal phase, but keep in mind that EVERYONE's cycle is different, and your luteal phase may not actually be 14 days.
