Stroller questions
1- if you got a jogging stroller but are not a runner, did you actually use it consistently to jog? I'm wondering how realistic of a fitness plan this is
And 2- how many strollers do you have? ( really a question for anyone, regardless of if you own a jogging stroller)

Stroller questions
I thought about a jogging stroller but I do not run so there is no way I was truthfully going to start WITH a stroller.
I have a City mini and I bought an umbrella stroller. We rarely use the city mini now. The umbrella is great and use it for a trip to the mall or for our trips to FL

Re: Stroller questions
#1 - no answer #2 - with ds #1 we had 3 strollers (snap-n go, maclaren umbrella, and the bumble ride which was great for walks and outings)

Re: Stroller questions
I've always had a fullsize that was used as a snap and go when my kids were infants.
We also have a sit and stand since DS will be 4 in May (was 33 months when DD was born).
We just sold our fullsize and got an UppaBaby Gluxe!

Re: Stroller questions
Don't jog so no jogging stroller although I did entertain the thought when DS1 was smaller, lol.
In terms of strollers, I've only had one at a time. When DS1 (and same now with DS2) was tiny, we used the snap and go. Once they got bigger (and they are/were both 19lbs at 6 months) we used one "regular" stroller.
DS1 = Peg Perego Switch (didn't like it and at age 2 bought a Britax B-Agile which I LOVE). DS2 = Britax B-Agile
I've no need for additional strollers bc I live on LI so we drive everywhere and only really use it at the mall, random store, boardwalk or on vacation. If I lived in NYC it would be different. The B-Agile is super convenient and light so we've always taken that when we travel.

Re: Stroller questions
1- not a jogger. I actually considered getting one for the reasons you mentioned but quickly changed my mind when I realized a jogging stroller won't turn me into a runner!
2- I have 3, a snap and go, UB Vista, and a Maclaren

Re: Stroller questions
we have a city mini double, maclaren twin techno, 1 single BRU umbrella. Then my parents each have a double stroller at their houses and we gave away the SNG we may have a stroller problem.
as for the jogging stroller, no stroller, even if it was golden, is going to convince me to go jogging.

Stroller questions
1 - I am a runner (or was), so we got a BOB. While I do take DD out jogging in it, it is SO much harder than running by myself. I now use it as a way to make my DH a slower runner - make him push the stroller and now I can ALMOST keep up....
2 - we just have the BOB (had the car seat adapter for when DD was an infant) and a Maclaren umbrella, that I hate with a passion. Contemplating buying another umbrella stroller that I won't hate a much before our next trip to FL in a couple of weeks.

Stroller questions
I have one stroller so far. The chicco cortina that's part of the travel system with the infant carseat. It's not a jogging stroller but I jog with it anyway with no problem. Maybe that's because its heavy so it doesn't bounce on the street like a lighter stroller would. Now that we don't use the infant carseat anymore I'm thinking about getting a more ligh weight umbrella stroller and/or jogging stroller instead.

Re: Stroller questions
I contemplated a jogging stroller, then I thought, who am I kidding? We do have a toddler seat for our bikes that we use a lot, that's more realistic for us.
We have two strollers. The UPPAbaby Vista and the G-Luxe for travel.

Re: Stroller questions
I don't have a jogging stroller. To answer your 2nd question, I'm afraid to say I have quite a few strollers . We have 2 lightweight/umbrella type strollers and 2 double strollers (1 full size and 1 lightweight). Also a snap 'n go from when the kids were in their infant car seats but I don't consider that a stroller. DH begs to differ though

Re: Stroller questions
I have a jogger but I don't run. I got it because it is all terrain and it is easy for me to use at the parks and zoo and what not..
And to answer the second question, I have TOO many. I have 2 regular umbrella stroller. Two lightweight ones that recline. And a Peg Perego... They all have heavy weight limits...

Same. I have been contemplating getting a more compact umbrella stroller bc I do find the city mini a little bulky. I'm trying to resist though!

Re: Stroller questions
Not a runner, and the idea of me having a jogging stroller is laughable. I don't think buying one would make me suddenly start exercising more.
We only have two strollers...the snap n go (obviously not used in a long time), and a City Mini. We are going to buy an umbrella stroller for vacation and to keep in DH's car, since we have a habit of forgetting to switch the City Mini from my car to his if we take his car anywhere.
We really don't use the stroller a lot though. I'm at work during the day, and if we're running errands in a place like the supermarket or Target, DD likes the shopping cart.

Re: Stroller questions
We love our Bob. My DH is a marathoner and used it throughout training. I am more a class at the gym girl but found I used it a lot during the nice weather. Went for many long power walks and runs. I also don't like the daycare at my gym so when I want to workout and have no help it really comes in handy.
We also have the city mini GT which is great and what we use everyday. Bob is great on the sand which is a bonus at the beach.

Stroller questions
I wanted to start Couch to 5K, so DH got me the Graco Fast Action Fold Click Connect and I love it. I ran my first 5K in October. I love that stroller!
We technically have 4 strollers- the jogging, a Graco MetroLite, an umbrella stroller and a snap and go.

Re: Stroller questions
I have a jogging stroller. I got it for Xmas, so it has been too cold to use, but I am hoping to use it once it warms up. That being said, I have actually used it for walks a few times cause it is a super smooth ride! I HATE running, but I also hate not doing anything as far as workouts, and this is my only real hope to carve out some kind of activity at this point.
I have 4 strollers: Bugaboo donkey, Bobs jogging stroller (double), single umbrella stroller and a snap and go. Meanwhile, both kids hate going in the stroller, so money well spent

Re: Stroller questions
We only have the uppababy vista. We used it a ton when we lived in the city and less once we moved to the burbs and DS became mobile.
My boss offered us her daughters jogging stroller free but we declined as I figured I would barely use it and we didn't have a lot of space at the time to store two large strollers. We may get an umbrella stroller one day but haven't yet...

Re: Stroller questions
1- we got the BOB jogging stroller. DH and I do a lot of hiking and sometimes the ground is very uneven so we wanted something that could easily navigate over roots. I have also rollerbladed with it. I had hopes to run/jog with it, but that hasn't happened yet. Maybe when the weather gets warmer.
2- we have the jogging stroller and an umbrella stroller. DD isn't ready for the umbrella stroller so we take the jogging stroller everywhere.
