Stroller Question
So I registered for the 2011 City Mini. I have a shower this Sunday, and it hasn't been bought yet, but I'm also having a shower in MD in mid August. Plus I figured we'd get some gift cards so I wasn't worried about buying it. Though someone did buy us the car seat adaptor bar. Well today we were driving past GiGi's Kids, a consignment shop in Hampton Bays, and there was a City Mini out front. It had the rain cover, the child snack tray and the parent cup holder. And it was only $40!!! I told DH to pop the trunk and we bought it. So I've been playing with it and it's great, but the wheels seem a little worn. It has no manual, so I don't know the year, but I found one online and I found where to order the back board since the older ones don't have that. So, should I keep it and delete the other from my registry? Register for a different stroller? Also, do you know if I can buy new wheels or tires?

Re: Stroller Question
wow congrats!!!! that's an AWESOME find!! im jealous are you looking to have two strollers? (maybe one in your car and one in dh's car?) if so, then i would leave it on the registry. city mini is a fantastic stroller- works great and is lightweight and super easy to use. apparently it is very durable and lasts quite a while too, so as long as the wheels aren't damaged, i wouldnt worry too much about replacing them. if you get new ones, the same thing is going to happen after a few uses.
good luck and congrats!

Re: Stroller Question
I would keep it, what an amazing find!! And I agree on the wheels getting worn. Mine looked horrible within a month, we do a lot of walking. I wouldn't get two of the same stroller, I would probably take it off the registry.

Re: Stroller Question
I recently bought a stroller at a consignment sale and just called the company and they sent me a manual and took my info to register it in case of a recall. I'd call them.

Re: Stroller Question
Good find!! If you want to register for another stroller I highly recommend a snap and go. I know the city mini has that attachment but the snap and go is so portable and easy. I loved it!!!
