Stretch Marks..How many weeks were you...
How many weeks were you when you first started developing stretch marks??
I am 18 weeks and in the last few weeks have seem to just pop..my belly button is now horizontal ...I have stretch marks all over my butt and some on my thighs and have been slathering lotion and palmers on...I just bought bio-oil as well today...from your experience, does this even work or am I fighting against something that I can't stop once it starts??? I'm hoping to keep them off my belly for as long as possible..what do you girls think..do I have a chance, or will they come ???

if you have them on other areas you are most likely to get them on your belly....I got them on my stomach around 25 weeks...they stink

I got them around 20 weeks or so, maybe before... on my hips, butt and some on my thighs. I am now a little over 34 weeks and so far none on my stomach.... thank god :) I slathered palmers everywhere 2 or 3 times a day, if you are going to get them, i don't think any lotion or oil will help, but it does make me feel better...lol

I'm 25 weeks. I don't have them on my stomach yet, but I definitely have them in other areas.  There's nothing you can do to prevent them.

Your fighting a losing battle... I got them on my tummy around 30 weeks... and I used every single cream out there trying to prevent them... once you get them you cant really stop them from coming.. it sucks!!!!!!

I got them around 17 weeks!! and i they just keep showing up no matter if i put the cream on 3 or 4 times a day!!

Fighting a losing battle!!  I only got them on my stomach starting around 28 or so weeks but all the lotion does is make them less irritated and uncomfortable. It's annoying for sure!!!

I have a few very small, light stretch marks on both of my sides. From what I understand no matter how much lotions and potions you use, some people will get them.

Not true...I have some small ones from puberty on my hips and inner thighs and do not have any on my belly yet...I am 34 weeks this week

Here's another surprise I learned about stretch marks..... it's possible for them to appear AFTER the baby is born. With DD#1, I got no stretch marks at all, and I NEVER used creams BTW. After she was born, about a week after delivery, I noticed some small stretch marks around my belly button.
They've since faded. I'm now 32 weeks pg and don't have any yet.....

I didn't get them until around 32 weeks. It's genetics... but slathering on the cream doesn't hurt.

same here. i have some mild ones on my butt/hips from a growth spurt when i was a teenager. i never got stretch marks from pregnancy.

I had them on my boobs and thighs and now on my belly...I said that you would most likely get them, not definitely

I have to agree. I got stretch marks on my boobs when I was a teen (went from a 32A to a 34D in about 8 months) and so far this pregnancy I haven't had any on my stomach and haven't gotten more on my boobs (and my boobs have been growing a lot). I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow, so it's still possible, but I am really hoping I don't get them. I put cocoa butter on every morning.
