Sounds like a nut. I'm on baby 3 and no way shape or form did I feel any of them in the first trimester.

The c-section thing may be legit. Many doctors are totally against v-bacs.

Sounds strange. Maybe she "thinks' she feels the baby moving and its really gas?

I know a lot of dr's are against the vbac's... but would they really bring it up from like 6 weeks on and make a plan for it now? She's only technically 10 weeks along?
I could be totally wrong about this but I would think they might lean towards one direction now, but since there's SO MUCH time left.... they wouldn't make the actual decision until much much closer. so much can happen from now until then. IDK. I guess because of everything else she says that's nutty it makes me throw this one on there too. had this been the only thing, I might think differently of it.

you would think this... but she told me "it's the baby and def not gas"...

when I told her last week that i thought i felt the baby move she told me... oh i've been feeling that for weeks and didn't want to tell you... it's def not gas and it's def the baby.

ETA: I was 17.5 weeks and she was 9 weeks at the time.

sometimes it scares me.

i just don't know what to make of it.

she also tells me that her uterus is so big and the dr commented on it and then a week or so later she started with the baby being 2 weeks ahead of time.

its so confusing and nutty to follow.

there's sooo much and i really just dismiss a lot of it because i find it to be bogus.

The c-section thing has some validity....
Quite possible

The thing w/ the weeks is a possibility , more-so because there is always that confusion over how many weeks a person truly is pregnant for ...Not sure if thats where the discrepancy lies...

I have never heard of anyone feel a baby move that early on Chat Icon

ETA- I am a repeat c-section and it was discussed at my consult

in regards to the 2 weeks:
even with temping and knowing when she ovulated and testing to have a BFN then a BFP a few days later???
With that part of the equation I just don't see how it's possible.

ETA: C section I could see. but a lot of the rest of what she says it makes my face twisted. haha. I just never understand it.

She sounds like some looney bin "one-upper" with the whole "I felt them for weeks but didn't want to tell you" crap.

The doctor being against vbac might be a possibility, but everything else seems like she's a few fries short of a happy meal.

Re: Strange Vent that I will remove at some point...

Some people get off on having all the answers and will do anything to make it seem like they know everything and have been through it all. This is how it seems to be.

Maybe she is actually a bit jealous that you are further along than her?

Definitely sounds a little looney to me. I'd just let her talk out of her butt and yes her to death.

Re: Strange Vent that I will remove at some point...

OMG this is totally weird! I mean i know many people that just fabricate things to the point in which its scary. But to make up in you rhead hw far along you are etc thats even nuttier. Whatever. Maybe when she brings these things up you can change the subject.

I have a co-worker that whenever we talk about me having the baby it turns into her daughter wanting to have kids soon & she wants more then one etc. Ummm your daughter isnt even married yet. (she has been engaged for 3 yrs). One step at a time. Then when we purchased our 3rd home it was oh yes my daughter is so buying a house right after they get married. OK WHATEVER. Some people just need to have something to input or make themselves feel better about things. Its weird. But whatev. Chat Icon

I'm not annoyed at all about it.
perplexed is more what I am.

I could see someone being further along than they think they are... but in her case I don't think it's possible due to temping, timed sex and the schedule of which she got a BFN and then a BFP. being 2 weeks ahead would be impossible for her.
aside from the fact that at the time she did get the BFP she knew when she implanted and all.
