Strange cycle what do you think?

I was waiting for AF a couple of weeks ago so I could get my first IVF cycle going with Dr. Braverman. When I realized I was late, I went into Braverman for sono/blood and he actually happened to catch the LH surge and see a follicle. That was 5/1. Was told to "have relations" (love that phrase) that weekend and see what happens. Either way, he'd see me in a couple of weeks.

AF showed up today in full force. I have cramping, too. I almost never cramp. It's also earlier than usual for me. My luteal phase is always 12-13 days. Say I ovulated on Saturday 5/2, then today would only put me at 10 days. Could it be an early mc?
Does it really matter? not really. But I would just want to know. I didn't test at all this week, b/c it was too early.

Since you were late and you got AF early - I don't think it's an early m/c situation....
Your cycle may have been thrown off by stress or meds (if you are on any) or your hormone levels may be changing.
I would call your RE and go in for CD2/3 testing to see if your levels are off - your FSH may have gone up or something along those lines.

I agree with Gerty and don't think it is an early m/c. My cycle always was fairly regular, but when I was on medications, it would vary by 2 or 3 days.

Thanks. I think it's just off due to stress or who knows what. I'm not on any meds. We were waiting for AF, so I could go on BCP to do IVF. I'll be getting CD3 blood done anyway and we'll take it from there.
