Storing refrigerated breastmilk

My apologies first off.. I am sure this question has been asked before... but can I leave breastmilk in the refrigerator for a while (24 hours) and THEN freeze (it's in the Medela breastmilk bags)? I pumped at work and I don't want to freeze just 1 ounce so I was wondering if I can pump tomorrow and then combine (I will let the fresh milk get cold before I combine as to not mix warm and cold BM). THANK YOU! Chat Icon

Yes. I was told it can be in the fridge up to 8 days before freezing but just to be sure I don't let it stay in the fridge for me than 3-4.
