Storing baby clothes
We received so many hand me downs that we just can't even use them all! I'm so greatful but overwhelmed at the same time. So now that DD is about to move up a size again I'm not sure what or how much I should save. I'm not even 100% sure i want another DC and there's always the chance that if I have another it could be a boy. What did you keep and save?

I kept 98% of it. I used those vacuum seal bags and have them in my attic. DD pretty much was in everything once. If I didn't love it, I donated it after she grew out of it. If and when we have another DC I'll worry about what I saved then. There will always be someone in need!

I kept everything that was in decent shape and am greatful I did since we had a second DS. Even though their b-days were a few months apart, DS 2 is bigger than DS 1 so he's getting good use out of all of the hand me downs.

I use the vacuum bags too. I have all of her newborn, 3 month, and 6 month clothes in one jumbo bag along with extra blankets, towels, sheets, my boppy, and other random newborn stuff. It really holds a ton in a small amount of space and will definitely stay air tight which I like. I didn't get rid of anything other than donating a few things after the hurricane.

Re: Storing baby clothes
I'm saving everything. If we do have another girl we are set. If my sister has another I HOPE its a girl because she will be set. If both of us have boys or no more babies someone else will be set. I might give it away or sell it. Same for toys.
ETA Im probably selling holiday dresses next year.

Pretty much this. Although I used large zip loc bags and smushed all the air out of them.

Re: Storing baby clothes
I only kept the stuff that is still new looking, and just a couple of outfits that I was sentimental about.
We have tupperware storage containers for the clothes he's grown out of and the ones he's yet to fit.

Re: Storing baby clothes
I keep almost everything. I throw out white onesies and stuff I'm not too crazy about. But I'd say I've kept about 99% of my boys stuff. I store it in plastic tubs. I'm planning on having 1 more and if it's a boy again he's gonna inherit a lot of nice clothes.

Re: Storing baby clothes
I saved 99% of it in Rubbermaid bins in my attic! All labeled and color coded...blue bins for DS's clothes and pink for DD's clothes.
I can't part with them just yet..and hope my good friends and my brother will go "shopping" in them when their time comes!
