Stop n' Shop Grocery Pick Up Question
If I order my groceries on Thursday to be picked up on a Friday will I get the new Friday sale prices even though I checked out on a Thursday? How does this work?
Do you typically have to order by 3:00 pm the day prior? I was trying to order groceries for pick up yesterday at about 6:00 am and there was no availability for the whole day.
How do you use coupons at the pick up? How much of a tip is appropriate for store pick up?
Thanks:) I think this is going to be a great thing once I figure out how to use it.
Thanks

Stop n' Shop Grocery Pick Up Question
I don't do pick-up, I use the delivery service. But as far as sale prices go- I read on the website the price you have when you put it in your cart is good for 7 days.

Stop n' Shop Grocery Pick Up Question
I believe it's 7 days like pp said. I did the delivery service for a while but now I do pick up. You pull into one of the designated spots and someone brings the groceries to your car and puts them in your trunk. It's free and they aren't allowed to accept tips..LOVE it!

Stop n' Shop Grocery Pick Up Question
Yes you go inside. We went to the floral department. Also, it was free and now it isn't (without a coupon) by me. You also need a $60 minimum. I find sometimes the prices online are more expensive.

I think maybe you're thinking of shop rite. Stop and shop you dont have to get out of your car.

No my Stop and Shop I had to go in. I was not impressed. I think it would be convenient in the winter when I can keep DD warm in the car...but we had to get out. Something about no cameras "yet".
I also didn't meet the minimum on another order I tried placing. I also find sometimes you do not get all the sale prices and they inflate certain items.

Re: Stop n' Shop Grocery Pick Up Question
I do peapod delivery on friday nights. I put in the order and select the delivery time 6-7 days in advance and take advantage of the current sale prices. Then on the Thursday before delivery I see the new sales and select what I want... Then Finialize my order... Therefore I get to get 2 weeks of sale prices... This only seems possible with a Friday delivery.... If I change to Saturday I lose the previous weeks sale prices...

With shoprite you don't get out of your car. With them, the price is whatever the current price is so if you place an order you need to pick it up before the week ends. I usually order and pick it up the same day though, they just need a minimum of 3 hours.

I was getting the Thursday prices when I was shopping on Thursday for Friday pick up. How exactly do you get the two weeks of sales?
And no tips? Really?

I do delivery every Friday night, unless we are traveling or something, so it is very routine. Stop and Shop releases their new sales every Thursday. I always 'shop' and set my delivery date the Friday BEFORE delivery, as long as you lock in a time for pickup you lock in the sale prices. Then the Thursday before my scheduled delivery I see the new sales and can add them to my cart. I finalize the order and it includes the previous and current weeks sale price. I tip $4 but I do delivery, they do not expect a tip.

I'm confused? The a Stop n Shop website did not have the sales for Friday on Thursday. (day before) Do they typically have both weeks sales available on Thursday or are the sales changed on Thursday to reflect the new sales beginning the next day?
