Stop and Shop Salad
So I went to Stop and Shop Yesterday and bought some of the salad they had on sale. I made some nice chicken fritters to serve with a salad for dinner. Dh cut up some tomatoes and put them in a bowl with the salad....
As we were cooking we suddenly noticed black flies all over.. like 7 of them.. Weird. We couldn't figure out where they came from. So after killing as many as we could catch, we sat down to eat and I put a big heap of salad on my plate and out from under the salad flew a big fly. 
I think the flies were in the salad. They are all over the house and so gross. I am pretty sure that they came from the salad becuase the one that flew out came from below the pile of lettuce.....
HOW DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the stop and shop brand and they were big black flies. Fortunetly they were really slow and we were able to swat them all dead in few hours..

My sister has really bad luck with stuff like this. She had a huge grasshopper in spinach one time, and a fly baked into a poptart!

I never buy bagged salad. I use to, but stopped b/c of the weird taste that I though it had. SO glad I stopped!
