Still negative..
I tested again today - tested at 9, 10 and 12 dpo and still getting negatives.
Still have a bunch of symptoms - had burning nips at 8dpo, sore boobs, cramping and twinges, heightened sense of smell, weird taste in mouth, dizzy feeling yesterday. And today I had a tiny amount of brown spotting when I wiped (TMI!). I don't know what is going on! I've never had that kind of spotting before. AF is due either Sunday or Monday...

At 12dpo, the test probably was accurate.  But all in all, the early testing is only going to cause stress and doesn't give a definitive answer.

I have many of the same symptoms you do, minus the bleeding and the nips. (Well I have nips, but they arent burning) Today I am 9 days DPO on day 24 of my cycle which could be from 28-30 days. I am going for bloodwork on Monday.
I am rather confused with the cramping. When I was on the pill I never got cramps. Once I went off, the cramps were bad but only a day or two before my period. As I regulated, I started getting crampy 7-11 days before AF was due, but only for a short time.This cycle, I have been cramping every day for about 8 days.
So I am just a few days behind you. Good luck!

Ealier in the week I used a CVS brand that compares to EPT.

Honestly like everyone else said 12 dpo is still early. Give yourself until Sun. then test again...Good luck!!

there is a HUGE chance that it is too early. your spotting may be implantation, in which case your body would be just starting to make beta-HCG now. it takes a few days to build up and to make it into your urine.
i know the wait S U K S... but hang in there!!!!!!

Isn't it the HCG that causes the other symptoms though (like burning nips)?

I was late by a few days last week...the HPT was neg. Still no AF...but I'm confused if it's pregnancy or not b/c of the neg. result.
I will certainly test today!!!!! Thank god i am not the only one!

i don't believe so, i think it's the very high progesterone that causes all of these evil PMS-like symptoms. once the beta-HCG starts moving the two hormones work together and the pg symptoms get MUCH WORSE
