Re: Steakhouses
Rothman's was nice and the food was good - but if you're only going with 1 other person there is a section in the front by the bar that they seat all the two person tables - so you see everyone come in and get seated past you. The good thing was we were there for 3 hours and they didn't try and rush us out of there.
I loved loved loved Ruth's Chris!!! Food and atmosphere were great!

Boulder Creek, Blackstone, Rothmanns, Sagamore and B&D are all owned by Sbarro, so chances are, they're probably buying their meats from the same place.
My all time favorite steakhouse is The Clubhouse in Huntington on Jericho Tpke. It's a small, intimate restaurant that's been there for years.
I haven't been, but heard it's very good (but also very pricey...probably the priciest on LI) : Mac's Steakhouse
I was going to say the EXACT same thing about the Clubhouse. I also love Abel Conklins in Huntington. Food is excellent.

Re: Steakhouses
Rothmann's.... I live right by there, so we get to go there a lot..... Never had a bad meal.
Sagamore in Syosset is also good.
just don't go to either on a Thursday night. It's mobbed with the over 40+ crowds in fancy cars for singles night.

I know its not one of your choices, but Mac's Steakhouse in Huntington is very good. We have been there several times and the food has always been delicious. Not like it matters, but their bathrooms are so pretty. (lol)
Manero's in Syosset is also good but I think its under a new name now?

IMO that place ROCKED it does rock! the food is amazing. but for ambiance, I would pick 21 Main... it's so cozy and romantic and the food is just as good. plus it's owned by Lovin' Oven, so the desserts are from Audrey's
Yeah...ummm...I'm not help either.
I LOVE Bryant & Cooper, but tonight that may change being we have reservations for 21 Main

It still has the Manero's sign up, but it's also called Fulton Prime.

They really aren't that bad. We normally go to Bryant & Cooper and pay a little more. The service & atmosphere IMHO all top notch above B&C. The food was absolutely delish! We both had the filet mignon (DH had it with the Gorganzola) three sides, bottle of wine, desserts, coffee, salads.
