Staten Island restaurants
Going out in a couple of weeks for a friend' birthday. Seeing an early show in the city and finishing the night at The Drunken Monkey in SI. Looking for a nice/fun restaurant in Staten Island between the ferry terminal and The Drunken Monkey. I've never been to SI so I have no idea where to even begin looking. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Re: Staten Island restaurants
I grew up on SI, but I'm not great with that side of the island. The one place that I can think of is Adobe Blues- great Mexican food, and a huge beer and margarita menu. It's my favorite when we go out with my sister and BIL.Adobe Blues- Yelp
I'll let you know if I think of anything else, or I will ask my sister when I speak to her later today.
Someone I work with is related to the owner of Bistro 6, and she told me that it was very good, but it's not really in the area that you're looking for.

Adobe Blues is fun!
The Drunken Monkey is on Victory Blvd. I think... or is it Forest Avenue?
There are a TON of great places on Forest Ave... Cafe Milano (I was there last night) and Pasticceria Bruno are the first places that come to mind.

The Burrito Bar is not so far from the Drunken Monkey-- Fun, casual. Adobe Blues food is better imo, but the BB is a younger more casual atmosphere. Right near the ferry is the Cargo, which used to be good but can't vouch for the food now (haven't been there in forever). Also, I have heard good things about Enoteca Maria, which is very close to the ferry also.

Re: Staten Island restaurants
Adobe Blues is great. I am not a fan of The burrito Bar. Panini Grill is on Forest and it's great (I reccomend the Italian Nachos) Cafe Milano is pretty good too.
