Stair Runner
DH and I want to get a carpet stair runner for our hardwood stairs.
Does anyone know if this has to be done professionally? Or is it something DH can do on his own?
Also- if you have had it done professionally- how much did it run you? (We have a split, and its only 5 steps that need to be done.)
Also- If anyone has had this done, can you post pics?

The previous owners did ours. We are in a spilt though and just have 2 small stair cases of like 6 steps each. He stapled the carpet. It's still pretty sturdy.

We had a full set of stairs done professionally (13 or so), cost about $600. I don't have a pic right now.

old pic but the only one i have saved. rug color is lighter IRL. runner continues along upstairs hall.
