Re: spray tan timing?

What I found was the day after I got sprayed I was way too dark. There is a bronzer in the spray so that they can see where they are spraying and you get instant results.
That was too dark for me.
Once I showered, 24 hours later, and the bronzer washed off it was much more natural.
I'd say 2 days before the event...minimum. 3 would even be good.

Exactly. And like pp said, I found the next day to be too dark and the following day to be just right.

Also, go LATE Thursday. Do not plan to go out or do anything after because you will look like swamp thing. It looks overdone and streaky immediately after, but then you rinse with lukewarm water 3 or 4 hours later and it looks better. Then take a regular shower in the morning, though I'd still avoid loofah-ing or exfoliating.

As far as swimming, yes, it does take it's toll on your spray tan. Not immediately, but I had a spray tan done for my Friday night wedding on Thursday morning and then left for a cruise on Sunday... by Wednesday, my tan was all jacked up. But that's almost a full 7 days in 80 degree weather and a salt water pool!

spray tan timing?

I would def go thurs for a sat event. You dont want to shower at all for at least 8 hours or it reallg washes away a lot of the tan
Chlorine will make you streaky and the tanning solution can come off while your in the water leaving brown water around you... yuck lol
