Spotting 5 dpo

I started spotting brown 5 dpo and still am.. Just light spotting thats brown on tp and this never happens in my cycle. I usually will spot a day or so before AF but never this soon. I took a hpt and it was a BFN Is it still too soon to home test? I'm currently 9 dpo today. If so how long should I wait to retest. Sorry ladies, I'm new to the board and it's been 5 years since my DS was born. TIA!

same thing happened to me this month. Mine started at 6 dpo and lasted three days. This also never happened to me before.
Hopefully yours is implantation bleeding!

Actually still waiting for my real AF to show.

I always thought implantation bleeding was for like a day or so. I'm hoping this isn't my AF coming early!

So nobody knows when a good day to test is??????? Again, i'm 9dpo and just got a BFN!

If it was implantation bleeding and not AF you should wait until a week after the bleeding. Implantation normally takes place about half way through the 2WW.

implantation does not last for a few days..it is a one time thing and i believe usually red

spotting before af can be a sign of low progesterone or it could just be one time in ur cycle

i would see enxt month if it happens again..and 9 dpo is def too early to test
