Splitting immunizations
Are there any doctors that will split the MMR vaccine? I have heard through friends that very few docs do this, and even if studies are inconclusive, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

yes mine will split them as well. they did like to say some of the vaccines are backordered, but i do not care. she will get them separate and i will have some peace of mind

I haven't tried to split but I know that there are several girls on parenting who have done this - so maybe put a xref over there.
BTW I did remember reading over there that some drs are telling their patients that they are not making them split anymore or that they are having supply issues with some of the single dosage shots.

Are any of these docs South Shore/ Western Suffolk/ Eastern Nassau? We were going to check out Seaford Pediatrics-- do they do this?
