Spinoff.. Who is GAINING in the first tri?
I always hear about people losing .. or not gaining anything in the first tri.
In my first pregnancy I was up about 10-12lbs in the first trimester!! I seemed to be the only one I knew who gained that much and it's not like I was eating some crazy amount. I didn't really have m/s... so I wasn't really nauseous and did have a bigger appetite, but still.
This time I am 9wks now and up 4lbs already.
Who else has gained in the first trimester? Make me feel better!!

I'm up about 6 lbs at 12.5 weeks.
Even when I felt nauseous -- I wanted to eat. And nothing sounds bad. Everything sounds AMAZING.
And I'm always always always hungry so I'm eating constantly. 
Just trying to make sure I have fruits and veggies around. You know, on the side with my pizza

I'm 10w and have gained 2 pds. Last time at 20 weeks I had gained 10 pounds, but I was also a lot heavier going in to my last pregnancy....since I dropped 20 pds between August-November, I'm at a much better starting point! So I actually don't mind weight gain at all, I just hope I don't LOOK pregnant until I'm 16 weeks and I'm comfortable with telling everyone at work! lol You are a tiny thing anyway so don't worry too much!! If it makes you feel better I had FIVE cupcakes in ONE day last weekend LOL

I gained about 10lbs in the first 12 weeks. I had no MS, but I was always hungry.
Now at 25 weeks, I'm up about 20lbs.

When I was pregnant with Anthony, I was up like 15lbs by 12 weeks. With this pregnancy, I was up 2lbs by 12 weeks. I think a lot has to do with my starting weight... I was about 10lbs heavier at the start of this pregnancy.
At 41 weeks, I gained a total of about 45lbs with Anthony and at 2 weeks PP, I lost almost all of it. I say enjoy eating now, bc it will all melt off once baby comes!

Funny because when we were pregnant together when you had Anthony, I always compared my belly pics to yours because I thought we looked really similar!!!

Ummm yeah My dad asked me yesterday how I plan on hiding this from my family till 14wks (When I plan on coming out) I was like .. umm .. I guess I just won't see them till then!!

Hey, it's that time of year I guess -- which is a bonus for us. And by the time it's spring and warm ... we'll have big ol' bumps and be able to wear cute clothes to show them off in.

Funny because when we were pregnant together when you had Anthony, I always compared my belly pics to yours because I thought we looked really similar!!!
I used to take belly pics like a crazy person last time... I'm tooo laaaaaazy this time! lol

I am almost 11 weeks and I am up 5 pounds. I have mild morning sickness, exercise and eat right. I thought it was just me who gained! I always hear about losing during the first trimester!! I thought I was weird, I feel so much better now!

After a loss & taking 8 months to get pregnant & not stressing over weight gain.....i lost 30lbs prior & trying to pace myself ..i love food..some bad but mostly good. Im active as much as i can & im so happy to be expecting ..my last. Never had morning sickness & or any major pregnancy symptoms. Im up 11 lbs @ 17.5 weeks.

As of the beginning of the week when I hit the 12 week mark, I'm up about 7 lbs. I have not been eating well at all (damn cravings) and I've never been an exerciser. I really need to get it together. Starting to worry that I'm going to gain a ton of weight this pregnancy!

When I went in for my physical right before my ET I was 104. When I went to the Dr at 9w I was 110!!!!!
I know some of it is bloat, and some of it is bc I was wearing clothes, but some of it I am sure is from wanting everything carbs!!!!

I gained 3lbs from 7 weeks to 12 weeks. Dr told me to relax myself lol not sure total because I refused to get on a scale

Crashing. I gained at almost every visit. Not a lot, but i gained. I also had a lot of swelling from early on so i am sure a lot was water.
I carried crazy small but seemed to gain lot on the scale. Yet I wasn't eating more than normal.
Just so you know, I lost it all within a week of delivery.
So don't freak out too much about the number on the scale.
Sometimes your body is just wonky.

I'm def glad to see that from some of the BTDT people that it melts off quickly after.. but really.. after all we've been through I wouldn't care if I gained 5,000lbs!! I guess I would just wanna know that other people were gaining 5,000lbs too and it wasn't just me 
I might 'cautiously' (I repeat.. cautiously...) go through my bag of maternity clothes soon to see what I have/need.

Oh I definitely gained int he first tri!! I was underweight to start and my body was like "HEY NOW, WE NEED TO GET READY!" and boy did it ever!

Me Me Me!!! I've gained 3lbs already. I was very hungry for a couple of weeks. I just wanted to eat. It has leveled off though. It doesn't help that I started out 12 lbs heavier this time vs last time, SAHMommyhood has made me fat. With DS I gained a total of 24lbs and lost 16lbs by 6 days later and lost the other 8 within 2 months. I'm afraid to gain bc I doubt I'll be that lucky again.
