Spinoff: Where do you REALLY want to go??
One answer with a brief explanation.
I'd love to got to Iran. Everything I've read about people who've traveled here, say it's a wonderful experience. People are very friendly. The country is gorgeous and the food is amazing. I also love the idea of wearing local dress. Rocking a headscarf and long jacket. No need to diet before that vacation. Someday.....

i want to travel around the world. started planning this idea for our honeymoon....but our 3 week vacation quickly turned into a 3 month itinerary (at minimum). so we scratched that idea. now the plan is to stay healthy so we can do this when we retire....by then we should have the time and money
ahhh, to dream!

But what I would really love to do is a world cruise! It's like 100 days or something.

I've gone to most of my top travel list before I had kids.
The Maldives, Alaska, Hong Kong and Brazil have been on my list but never book list for a long time.
My next never been places are the South of Spain, Italy and France. I've only been inland and not south.

I really, really, really want to go to Victoria Falls and a safari in Botswana or to Kenya. We were trying to do that for Christmas this year. When I started researching it, you need to take a small plane to get to the game reserves. I just couldn't get past that part. In the past few years, I have really become afraid of flying. Small planes are out of the question.
So we settled on Namibia. We are doing a self drive tour. No small planes  .

Next month we are going back to India and I'm going to one of my oldest dream destinations (and according to that last thread, a nightmare for some), Calcutta (Kolkata!) So excited!

Take tons of pictures and post a review when you get back! My parents did a safari in Kenya and Tanzania..said it was the best vacation they ever had

So many places but right now a safari to South Africa is number 1 on my list I absolutely love any sort of eco-tourism.

Argentina and Japan are on top of our list right now. We were supposed to go to Buenos Aires for our 10 year anniversary, but DS became ill and we had to postpone it.
DS wants to go to Japan too, but we are trying to wait for him to get a little older. I was shocked that Make-A-Wish denied Japan for his wish.

SO many places.
I want to go to Italy and Ireland for heritage reasons. I want to see the Oberammergau passion play in Germany, I want to see Shakespeare performed at the Globe. I want to go to Paris and Disneyland Paris. I want to go to the asian Disney parks. DH speaks Japanese and he really wants to go to Japan. I want to dive the Great barrier reef. I'm learning more about the world's best dive sites and I want to go to those
I want to go back to Barcelona. and St. Lucia. Once I go to a place, I love it and keep wanting to go back. I want to go back to CO where my family lives. I also want to go to Costa Rica, specifically the rainforests. I want to go to napa
