Re: Spinoff to wearing your rings together..

mine don't fit flush at all. I'm getting another e-ring setting custom made. this was not the setting DH proposed to me with, so I don't feel too guilty about it. the setting he proposed to me with was a loaner from the jeweler. I picked my own setting the next day.

Getting back to your concern, my 2 rings “clink” together and I am so worried about them damaging each other. Have you thought about a new setting?

No b/c I have an eternity band. Nothing really sits perfectly flush with it.

Re: Spinoff to wearing your rings together..

i really dont want to change the setting because this is the ring he proposed with, and my aunt designed it, so she will be p'oed too...

I dont want a band that "curves" because i think they look silly if you wear it alone..

but if eternity bands dont match any ring usually - i think i can get away with getting one now Chat Icon

my rings sit flush because my engagement ring is set really high ( round solitare) and my weding band is set lower.

Mable, my wedding band is almost a full eternity band & its flush, if your e-ring is set higher a little higher it may work

( i have no side stones on my e-ring)

ETA- I wish I did a full eternity band- I was listening to my friends telling me that I may need to cut into the band eventually. I did 3/4's
Still love my rings

Re: Spinoff to wearing your rings together..

mine doesnt sit flush- its a partial eternity band.

you know what- i hardly notice it
might as well go for what you like

i thought it was a big deal but its really not because it doesnt bother me

also both rings look awesome when each is worn alone- and i know eventually i wont always wear both rings together so might as well just get a band that you like alone and that compliments your e-ring - but sitting flush is not that important to me anymore

Re: Spinoff to wearing your rings together..

Not really. I wear my mom's band, but both rings are knife edge settings, so you don't really notice that they aren't flush.
