Spinoff to Visitors at the hospital...
If your hosptial allows the baby to be in your room during visiting hours, will you have your LO with you and being exposed to extra people or will you have the baby stay in the nursery?

I'll keep the baby in the room. Everyone that would come to visit in the hospital knows not to come if they are sick and will be washing/sanitizing their hands if they want to pick up the baby.

My hospital doesnt allow the baby in the rooms during open visiting hours (unless they have changed policy since 2007) but I woudlnt want the baby in the room. Some people arent as smart as you would think and still come if they have runny noses or coughs and say Oh its allergies.
Plus keep in mind its not just your guests in the room, its your roommates (unless you have a private room of course)
