Spinoff to Sweet tooth post about Autism, Non-plastic toy related...
I was reading the article about environmental factors such as plastics that may be causing Autism.
I was reading the list about things you should avoid and one of them was Plastic teething toys for babies. My DS has so many little platic toys such as rattles, keys, etc... He loves them and of course puts them in his mouth. I have always been nervous about them. I would like ideas on alternative toys I could give him. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

I almost bought this the other day. I wound up getting another teether that was BPA free. Maybe I will order it. Do you know if they sell it in the store anywhere?

I haven't seen it, I ordered it from Amazon, it came in a couple of days. They love it!

DS is OBSESSED with Sophie!!! I ordered it on amazon. I ordered another toy from the same company which is a bit crazy looking !!!

DS LOVED Sophie! We ordered it on amazon as well......he still sometimes picks her up and chews on her feet when his molars are bothering him. BEST teether!! We also had the organic under the nile veggie teethers, but he didn't use them as much

I really think there is still way to much speculation as to what leads to Autism. Until they have a definitive answer I am not falling for it. My mother told me the other day that when I was growing up she use to boil turkey bones to get the meat off of and we would teeth on that. And it was doctor recommended. No you can't even blink with out it being something or another. JMO
