The doctors had my mom believing I WAS a BOY .. they were not planning on a girl at all. So I was already named and being called Gregory for a LONG time before I "surprised" everyone
They didn't have any girls names seriously picked out... finally named me Felicia after my father (Felix)

See, the funny thing is, both my parents loved the name Jason, but that's not what they named my brother two years later...I always thought that was weird!
