Spinoff to pools...... sprinkler parks?
My DD's love anything like this, and my overly rambunctious "baby A" won't be tempted to dive into anything (trust me, she's tried)
So, do we have anything like this on Long Island? I know there's one in the Pelhams that's awesome, but I don't want to go too far.
TIA

I've heard about one at the Bay Shore Marina but I've never gone before.

Re: Spinoff to pools...... sprinkler parks?
Tanner Park by me has one.
You need to be a TofB resident though and buy a pass.
I've been able to get away with not having the pass because we usually just walk to the park.
I am also pretty sure Venetian Shores in Lindenhurst has a spray park but I think it's the same with the pass.
I am pretty sure non-residents can pay by day but I think it's pricey.
Parking outside the parks is not feasible either as a FYI.

Most of the towns have one now.
Town of Babylon has a few.
I think there is one at the pool in Wantagh park
Bayshore has one at the Marina.

If you are in the Town of Brookhaven, there are no sprinkler parks other than the crappy one at West Meadow beach.
We go to Shipwreck Cove at the Bayshore Marina. My kids love it! We pay the non resident fee (I think it's $15), but we spend the day there, so it's worth it.

Venetian shore is for residents only and you have to have a pass. Tanner you can pay to get in. Don't know how much but I know weekend and holidays are more money I think it ranges from 15-20 dollars

Bay Shore Marina Shipwreck Cove is really nice -- you don't have to be a resident to go, but do have to pay a higher fee than non-residents.
Town of Babylon has Tanner and Venetian - but I think only at Tanner can you get in and pay a higher rate if you don't have the pass. Venetian is for residents only.

We go to the one at the Bay Shore Marina. I think it can get pricey if you're a non-resident though. It should be opening at the end of next week.
I will also go up to Hoyt. Parking is just for residents buy you can park on the side street and walk in without a problem. I like this one too since there is just one way in and out. There's no pool, just sprinklers so it's a bit more relaxing for the parents lol.
