SPINOFF To "NOW GHI REQUIRES 12 IUI's"
For all the city teachers like myself, it's TRUE, they do now
However, we have severe male factor infertility so we got approved right away back two years ago for IVF without any IUI's. I just hope it's this easy this time around for my FET:)

I just spoke with Dr. B and mentioned the back to back counting for 2, he said it was a long shot that the insurance will go for it, but he will try. Call your Dr. office and see if they can work with the insurance company, many doctors will offer to write out a claim.

so if you got approved right away for IVF -skipping IUI's... then does this still pertain to you? Im planning on starting my FET cycle any day now...

I called GHI. For a FET, I don't have to do anything. If I ever need to go for a fresh cycle again then I would have to go for the approval of IVF, since IUI isn't an option for my situation medically:) I am going for my FET end of June/July time frame, you? GL

oH GOOD... I never did an IUI... doc said because of my age an IUI would equal to be being octomom or something! 
Starting my FET cycle within a week or so- taking provera to bring on AF
