spinoff to "new here"...
i am new at this so bear with me
why do most people/doctors say to wait to TTC until you get your actual period after being off BC? what would happen if you got PG right after going off BC? is that bad?

I think it's just because they want to be able to better date the pregnancy. I also heard something about the uterine lining needing to build back up as well, but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing if you do get pg.

It's basically so you know you are actually on a cycle. It helps you get to know your body better.

my doctor told us to wait 2 cycles after coming off BCP, but that it was more to help my body regulate and it would be okay if we got pregnant before then
