I have dorky glasses. They are just plain wire rims. I want to get plastic ones as a backup pair that are a little more stylish. I NEVER wear my contacts -- they bother my eyes so much.
Lets see if I can dig up a picture!

but they are "rimless" and flexible...

Preshy, is your E-ring an oval on a Lucida band? It looks a lot like mine in that pic!! (Please excuse me, I have an eagle eye for e-rings.)

LOL. No, I never heard Minnie Driver before. Perhaps it's my big head? Just a few minutes ago on another thread I was told I look like some chick from the Bold and the Beautiful.
You have exquisite taste in e-rings (or your DH does). Here's my oval on Lucida.

there is cool feature on eyeglasses.com..where you can upload a picture if youself and try on glasses
I have a strong prescription and limited options with glasses- I spent a small fortune on my last pair

Thanks!! When i taught kindergarten last year, my kindergarteners got very concerned when i stopped wearing my contacts because they told me I didnt look as nice in my glasses as i did with my contacts on!!
Not going to be a problem much longer since im getting Lasik on Tuesday!!!!
They also told me that when i got married I shouldnt change my name because they like my old name better then the new one!!
so cute!! i miss the little ones sometimes!! (i moved up to teach HS!)

it took a while but i found a pic of my 2nd pair
eta: I chose to spend money on expensive glasses due to the fact I wake up at 5am everyday and need something fabulous to make me feel fabulous. I am in no way endorsing being crazy and spending mucho dinero for glasses.
