Spinoff to my bad haircut post
Do you think i should/could call the salon and make an appt w/ the stylist again to SHOW ME how to do my hair. She INSISTED that if i do it like i always do, it will "just fall into place". My mom was w. me when i got it cut and has seen me today and yesterday adn said it looks NOTHING like what she did and shes right- it doesnt. It looks fried and mousy and horrible.
I asked this stylist 3x to show to how to style it and im annoyed she kept tlelling me what she told me and yet shewas DEAD WRONG. Now i want her to do her job and SHOW me. I did pay the slaon $60 and her a $12 tip so i think im entitled to more than a 20 min cut and blow.
THOUGHTS?

anytime i've been unhappy with a cut (for whatever reason) i have been able to go back to the salon and have them fix it for NO charge.
call and ask to speak with her, and explain the situation. if she is at all interested in keeping your business she'll be happy to have you come in for a quick styling session. and if not i would find a new place. no joke. i have done this at three salons and never, ever been charged for a "fix."

I'm not sure if you ended up at Meridian but they definitely made good on it several years ago when I had a perm and wanted more curl than I got. You are pregnant, right? Your hair could just be very different now from the usual and it may change again after the baby comes. Call the salon and see if you can go back in at a time that is not very busy so they can decide what to do and maybe show you more.

yes i did wind up there w/ the person everyone suggested. I loved the cut i am just annoyed that it doesnt AT ALL come out like hers. I dont expect it to be just like when she did it bc it never does- theyre professional. But its all thunned out bc she put layers in and if i dont style it right, it looks like i have thinning hair.
