SPinoff to maybebaby's post- Coxsackie question

I am nearly certain DS has it. He just told me his mouth is hurting, but he won't let me see in. He has had a fever between 101 and 104.4 for over a day.

My question is: He just saw the dr yesterday. (I found it odd that the dr did a strep test cuz he never has, now I wonder if he saw sores.) Do I take him back to the dr today? Can they do anything? TIA!!!!!
