spinoff to lamaze....One day class?

Do you think taking the one day class will be too much info at once?

I have a limited schedule during the week so I figured I would just do the one day class...just wondering what peoples opinions were, especially for those who may have taken it in the past.

yes, but we're doing it anyway. We both work in the city and would have to leave early for the weeknight classes so we're just doing the one day- we're going on Sunday 9-5- ahhhh! I'll let you know how it is next week.

Re: spinoff to lamaze....One day class?

I did the one day class on Feb 6th..it wasnt too much info for one day. I took my class at Good Sam..we had like 45 minutes for lunch the class was 9-5 we got out around 3:30. I loved the class and so did DH!

We also couldnt do the 5 week class...DH is an accountant and he had to work on that sunday after the class bc he is just too darn busy now!

ETA: mine was the hospital tour as well!

I did the one day class when I was pregnant and I LOVED it!! It was SO nice to get it done in one shot. It was a lot of info. but the way in which it was presented wasn't too much to absorb at once. Mine also included the hospital tour. It was a lot of fun actually!! Chat Icon

We did the one day class. It was not too much, and I'm glad it was done in a day and not several days.

Re: spinoff to lamaze....One day class?

We got the Laugh and Learn video which is a tape of a teacher giving a class so it's the same thing except obviously u can't ask questions, lol.

It took us 3 sessions of watching- it was a little over 4 hours long and broken into 6 classes, so we did 2 each time.

I'm SO glad we did that in the end. I'm home now with all the time in the world but DH works a ZILLION hours and I'm glad we got to learn everything without wrecking his down time.

Re: spinoff to lamaze....One day class?

We did a one day class...Sunday 9-5 and I was about 34 weeks. It wasnt bad at all...we actually enjoyed getting all the info in one shot. Later that week we did a newborn class and then a bf'ing class...so we were in full learning mode. I think I prefer getting all the info at once then having to committ to a certain day of the week for 4 weeks (you might not feel well one night) But that just imo...DH was excited and overall I think it was the best choice for our schedule.

We did something similar and it worked out perfectly to do it all within the same time frame.
