Spinoff to Inlaws names

What did your parents call their inlaws?

My mom always tried to avoid calling them anything. I think when she absolutely had to, she would say Mom or Dad.

My dad has always called my mother's parents Mom and Dad.

My mother's parents had been gone for a very long time before they met.


Mom called Dad's parent's by their names- "Ned & May"

My mom called my fathers parents Mom and Dad, she was very close to them.

Same for my dad and my mom's parents.

My mom never called her inlaws anything (her MIL, my grandmother, is still alive).

My dad is super close with my mom's parents (my g-ma has passed, but we still have gramps around and kickin' it) and he always called them by their first names.

My dad really did not call his inlaws anything.

my Dad calls my Mom's Mom- Mrs.P (first letter of her last name)

but my Mom called his parents by their first names- she hated her MIL- and my grandma hated my Mom (b/c she was "I"talian" )

My Dad calls my Mom's parents - Mom and just started to call him Dad.

My Mom calls my Dad's parents - Mom and Jim.

My mom didn't have any inlaws...my dad's mom died when he was young and he doesn't know his real dad.

My dad called his mil mom and his fil pop.
His MIL was like a mother to him.

My dad calls/called is inlaws mom and dad (dad my grandfather passed away 10 years ago).

My mom doesn't call her inlaws anything....she hates them actually.

My dad called my mom's parents Mert (nickname for Marie) and Dad.

My mom called my dad's parents Mom and Dad.

I honestly don't know as my perents got divorced when I was 9.

my father didn't have a FIL and MIL (They had already passed away)

my mom calls/called my dad's parents mom and dad - and sometimes even refers/referred to them as mommy and daddy

My mom always called my Dad's mom her name, Charlotte.

My dad called my Mom's parents either Conny and Joe or Mom and Dad. I remember him calling my grandpa"Dad".

and my dad called my moms parents mom and pop

My dad's father passed away before my parents met. My mom never called my dad's mom anything - she would just wait until no one was around to ask her something (they didn't get along very well)

I don't remember what my dad called my mom's mom, (she passed away about 10 years ago) but he calls her dad Pop-Pop. That's what all the grandchildren called him and now everyone does. Even people that aren't related to us

My mom called my grandmother "Doña Rosa". She didn't really see her much. My grandmother left my dad to be raised by my grandfather when he was really young. She only came back into my dads life when he was well into his 20s

My mom calls my grandfather by his name. That was the nicer of the things she calls him lol. They can't stand each other.

My dad called my grandmother Mama and sometimes he would joke with her and call her "vieja". They were really close. She helped raise him after my other grandmother left him.
He called my grandfather Don Ramón.

My Mom called my father's real father 'dad'. She called his mother and stepfather by their first names.

My dad called my mom's parents "mom" and her dad "poppa".

my dad calls my mom's parents by their first names.

when they referred to any of them in front of me or my sister it was as "grandma and grandpa"

My mom called her MIL, Mom. I don't think it was right away. I think it took years. My mom's mom died when she was 10.

My dad called his FIL by his name (Max).

My Mom called her inlaws Mom and Pop

My Dad called his MIL Mom but his FIL by his first name (Jack), they didn't really get along so well.

my parents both called their inlaws mom and dad...

FH's parents call their inlaws mom and dad as well

I plan on doing the same thing
