Re: spinoff to flutters
no, I wouldnt worry. Some people just take longer to feel. I felt mine at 16 weeks, because I have 2 in there, so I felt them early Everything is fine

Re: spinoff to flutters
I'm 16 weeks and I haven't felt them yet. Everyone is different and I think you shouldn't have to worry. At my last appointment, my husband and I heard the heartbeat and it was awesome......It's like a treat every time we go to the appointments to hear this. I would not worry. I haven't felt anything yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Dont worry. Just wait until about 20 weeks and you will start to feel kicks and jabs.

Re: spinoff to flutters
I am almost 19 weeks and I just started to recognize it. I never felt the flutters - mine went straight to kicks and punches. DH actually felt it outside my belly this morning. And before that I never felt or recognized flutters so don't worry - you'll feel it soon!

Re: spinoff to flutters
I felt it around 16 weeks for a few days constantly then I didn't feel it for a while. Now, at 19 weeks I am feeling more strong movements.
Everyone is different. You may even be feeling it and not realizing

Same here .. I never felt fluttering either (or at least that I could distinguish.) At about 20 weeks, I started feeling little kicks and punches , and then I could even feel them outside my belly ..
Everyone is different - to feel movement very early is such a nice treat... but rare!!

Re: spinoff to flutters
I am at 18 1/2 weeks and just started recognizing the flutters and little 'thumps' last week. They were there all along but I never knew it until they got a bit stronger. As a matter of fact I feel all day today. It's a bit strange to know its her.. but I know it will be much more significant soon. Good luck.. you should start recognizing them soon. Lay down flat on your bed and concentrate on feeling them in your lower stomach... mine are really low.

Re: spinoff to flutters
No worries....I didn't feel fluttering until 21-22wks and kicks and jabs around 24wks. I'm now 27wks and DH still can't feel them from the outside!!! I feel bad for him, I want him to experience it with me so I keep putting his hand there and then he gets all disappointed cause he didn't feel it.

I read in a magazine that a lot of first time moms do not recognize right away the flutters because since they have never been pregnant they never really know what to expect. I guess this might be one of the reasons.....
