spinoff to first time voter question
ok so this may be a stupid qusetion but how do i find out info on the other candidates other than the presidents that i will have to vote for cause i voted for the first time last year and after the president i had no idea who i was voting for

newsday.com will outline all the local people running for state senate and assembly and your local congressman. i would check out the cnadidates specific websites or other articles on the web to find out more.
judges, most people vote based on party lines: i.e. a conservative judge or a liberal judge.
