I used to NEVER decorate... except for Christmas.

Then I had kids.

I usually do really cheap decorations that we throw away for most holidays - like for Valentine's day we make paper hearts and hang them around. We buy conversation hearts and put them in small votive holders around the house. We have some red and pink candles and I pull them out and shove away the blue ones. I tend to hang up their school drawings and projects year over year. Noah's preschoold stuff and Robbie's stuff from his years at nursery school and now his kindergarten stuff will be pulled out and hung for the appropriate holiday.

I really don't KEEP a lot of stuff. I keep the artwork that my boys make and I have only have a few Halloween things and my Christmas stuff. So there isn't TOO much packing and unpacking involved.
