Yes he definitely cleans. Lately it's been a little bit of a struggle to get him to do his fair share, but he pretty much does whatever I ask him to do.

When we were both working we split everything 50/50.
Being a SAHM, I feel like it's part of my job (DH never says that, but I feel like it is).
But with both pregnancies, DH doesn't like me around the chemicals, so he does it all. I'm certainly not going to try to change his mind!

I didn't even know that DH's could clean....so my answer - no.
In my case .. he cleans ONLY when it gets to the point that I'm entirely pizzed off about the apartment looking like crap and I put my foot down that he does SOMETHING (anything!)

He does the laundry and lately even puts it away, he takes care of the cats and he does most of the cooking. I do the rest.

He'll do whatever I ask. But I HAVE to ask, which ticks me off.
I don't understand why it doesn't register in his head that when the laundry is overflowing the hamper it's time to take it to the laundry room. 
But when I do ask he usually does it.

Yes. He's home more than me, so he does laundry during the week and puts away the contents of the dishwasher.

That's how I feel Lauren! It's left up to me to decide when to do the laundry, when to fold it, when to put it away, when to straighten up, etc ... He does anything I ask but never takes initiative to just get it done. It drives me batty. And by the time I 'ask' for help, I'm usually pizzed off at him for not being considerate.

Same here. If it were up to DH it would take forever to get things clean around here. But I do have to say, once he sees me cleaning something, he's right there to help me out so I really can't complain too much about it.

If I ask him to do something,he will. Like maybe vacuum,straighten FamilyRoom out or wash a few dishes.
But he won't really do it himself.
We sorta have an agreement that works...I do everything in the house- he does everything outside(lawn,garbage,repairs).
Plus we do a lot of home improvements..more like HE does them,I approve.
I don't mind doing the house stuff because I do it faster & better Its important to me that he appreciates it...and he does,he's always splurging on me,so I don't mind.

same here! The only thing he cleans is his plate of food when I cook!
