i RARELY post pics bc my fh is extremely uncomfotable with it....
i hope this doesnt turn into a witch hunt
and also ,whos to say pics that some other people are posting arent fake either

I don't like to post pics. Mainly, I like to stay anonymous. Like today showed us- you never know who is reading this stuff. Sometimes I reveal personal information- I wouldn't want it to come bite me in the azz because of some stalker or someone who actually knows me IRL.
I also remember there was a picture of some kid that got so photoshopped and put him in these ridiculous situations and widely circulated around the internet- I guess I am always a little scared about that happening.

I don't like to post pictures of myself because I am body dysmorphic, I think I look great in real life, but the minute I see a picture of myself, I want to rip my eyeballs out and eat my head. Its my humour that makes me attractive to other people...

i did have pics of my recent wedding BUT i answered a post about being home alone and if ur scared (which yes i i am the biggest baby about it) and a poster said not to post that ur alone bc u dont know who reads/lurks/posts on here....and it got me thinking....and i freaked out and took my pics off my profile...im a chicken $hit i really am

i don't post pics bc i am a fairly private person. mostly - it's bc i got burned when i was planning my wedding on LIW. I had my wedding date and vendors in my profile and someone tried to call and cancel one of them on me.... from then on i realized you never know who is online and what their motives are - so i am very cautious with what i post on public boards

I have posted photos on occasion, mostly wedding related stuff, but I think I have taken them down fairly soon afterwards.

I don't post many pics of me for a few reasons. The main one is that I had a boyfriend from college who was stalking me for a while. That's stopped, but I still try to keep that under control. I know that he's friends with a LIF poster's DH.
Plus I'm not happy at all with how I look.
But I'll sometimes post pics of my kids.

Too many stalkers. I used to have a bunch on LIW but a friend of a friend said she recognized her from a picture I put on my wedding review. Creeped me out.
ETA: Then I had to explain to my friend what LIW was.
They just dont understand.

You never know who is really out there.
I also like to do some bashing on some people so.. I don't want them to know who I am.
Really, let's say you want to "vent" about your family, friends, DH. We have seen it many times, someone (not very nice!!!) recognizes you and go tell your DH/family/etc. what she wrote and back stab you when you were really coming here for venting or maybe advise.

I pulled all my photos off recently. I don't like that other people can copy them and stuff...mainly b/c normal people save a photo for a good reason--copy someone's hair/they like your dress, etc.
Recently, someone on another website took a wedding photo of mine and posted it somewhere and said I was basically not very pretty. I got my little feelings hurt. I didn't want something like that to happen again. I shouldn't care what a stranger thinks, but it really got me down. (but what the heck...i will post a shot of my hair soon anyway; i have to get over it) and you feel your prettiest at your wedding day; the fact that someone did that and started a whole thread about how NOT pretty I am was like...really mean.
