Spinoff--Anatomy Scan
If you told them at your anatomy scan that you don't want to know the sex, do they still check? Do they let your OB know?
When we went for our scan she never told us to turn around or anything like that so I'm just wondering if my doc knows or if it is in my chart. I will keep letting them know with each visit that we don't want to know just in case, but I'm just curious.

Re: Spinoff--Anatomy Scan
From what I understand they never put gender info into the chart. My OB asks me at every appointment if I know the gender (because he doesn't have that info), I always tell him no not yet (I might find out still). I think they do check (or try to) during the scans just to make sure everything looks normal, but otherwise I don't think they make note of it.

Re: Spinoff--Anatomy Scan
The tech told me that they don't put the gender in the pathology report if you didn't find out. Which I thought was great bc I've heard of drs/nurses slipping and saying what it is when the parents didn't want to know.
