Spin-off to sippy cups
What did you put in the sippy cups to get your DC to drink from them?
We have tried water and watered down apple juice, but it's still just a chew toy to her. I'm thinking of putting formula in it...then she might actually drink from it and understand what you are supposed to do with it.
What did you put in it to get them to understand?

I always put water in it.
Now she won't drink formula or milk out of her sippy.

I started with juice and water but he hated that. I switched to his formula and he loves that.
Now he will drink juice from it but only Pear Juice.
He hates water.

I was going to put formula in it, but I want my boys to know that sippy cups are for juice/or water, and bottles are for milk.

That's what I've been trying to do...however, after almost 2 months of not getting it...I want her to learn how to use the sippy cup

i always put water with a little bit of juice, or plain water. I haven't tried putting his milk yet. I was trying for a long time, finally when he turned a year he just started drinking it. He just wasn't ready before that
