Any truth to the heartrate old wives tale???? i think it is below 140 = boy and above 140 = girl

I do not know if it is true for everyone but it was true for me.
DD #1 was high 160's
girl on the way High 150's.

Mine was high 160's and low 170's. I find out on Monday if it's a boy or a girl.

I've read that of ALL the wives tales, that this one holds the most water (but is still a wives tale). Was definitely true for me and my nephew.....

I don't know.... DD's heart rate fluctuates..
At one appointment, she was around 145, and then other times she goes as high as 165....

Both my girls were in the high 150-160's. They both flucuate depending if they are sleeping while using the doppler to determine the rate. It will start at 130-140, but then once awake goes up to 150-60-70. So it's the average you take from the pregnancy and the timing. Obviously the OWT was true for me on both.

When in the pregnancy does the wives tale refer to? Because the heartrate changes. They're all pretty high around week 9 and then go down. Thanks!!
