Prices ever drop on Southwest?

What is a good Fare Watch to join to monitor if it goes down?

Thanks!

Booking flights is like playing russian roulette. If had a price go way down and then when i went to book an hour later, the price went right back up... frustrating! So basically, book when you feel comfortable with the price.

I use yapta to track flights. I like that you can see the price history for like up to 30 days. There's also the app skyscanner that I use.

YES!

I booked a trip to FL. less than a month ago and i got an email about ow fares. I checked and sure enough the price dropped!

I was able to cancel and rebook and saved $120.

ETA:The refund is only towards SW airfare. I travel often so I know it wont go to waste.

I booked through United and took their travel insurance. If the price goes down between when I booked the ticket and the day I travel I can have the difference credited back to my cc. I use kayak to gice me daily updates on the price to keep track of the prices. So far the prices have been between 20-60 more than when I booked but I think about 6-8 weeks before my trip prices could go lower so I will keep my eyes on the price then. HTH

sign up for their emails. SW often has sales every 3 weeks.

All the time. We book for what we are comfortable with and I'd say 9 times out of 10 the fare goes down and we can rebook for credit. It is totally awesome as long as you plan on flying them again lol you used to be able to transfer the credits between people but I don't think you can anymore.

Tuesday is generally the cheapest day to buy flight tickets.
