Will prices drop for the holidays?
do you think things like rockband 2 or gps systems will drop in prices during the holiday season? or do u think items such as that are pretty much set in stone?
i want to start holiday shopping yet dont want to miss out on great slaes prices... any websites that have listings of stores and sales for the holidays?

my husband used to work for game stop. the price for rockband will stay the same. its not like a clothes store where they could drop the price

Yes, I think for black friday they will have "one day only" kind of deals.
I plan on buying DH guitar hero for PS3 and I'm hoping it goes on sale then.

honestly, hot items like rock band and guitar hero may go on sale on black friday, but the demand is so high, they will not drop in price like other things

i agree with the other posters that one day sales might pop up.
Save your reciepts and if you have to buy again it when it goes on sale and return what you have already purchased, then maybe thats a better option.
Also-Some stores have not begun their return policy that extends it through the holidays. So if you plan to do this make sure they have extended it so you don't lose out.
things like GPS's though, will go on sale.
I also think stores are going to be a little more aggressive with sales this holiday season, due to the ecconomy.
