Sorta spinoff to allergies: Benadryl for dogs
My dog has allergies too and I see many of you give your dog benedryl. Is it reg benadryl or children's benadryl. What dose would be appropriate for a 40 lb dog you think??

My vet prescribes a different antihistamine for my dog. Of course I do not remember the name of it. Call your vet for advice. Better safe than sorry.

I give my dog 1 childrens meltaway benadryl
hes 15 lbs

Double check with your vet... Mine suggested Adult Benedryl ... 1 pill (25mg) per 25 lbs.
