sort of TTC related...regarding vacations
I'm always agreeing with the idea of not putting life on hold for TTC but here's my dilemma...
I really want to surprise DH with a trip to New Orleans in January for his birthday. IF we're successful in TTC between now and the 8 months until we would leave that would put me between anywhere as little as 2 months to as many as 7 months pregnant when we left!
I can hold out a few more months before I book to see if we get a BFP so that we're not going when I'm 7 months. But would you go to New Orleans 4-6 months pregnant?
And of course nothing is guaranteed but this is all IF we get a BFP-which I'm hoping happens by then!!!
And if we're not pregnant-then I'll just go to New Orleans and drink and have a good time.

I would def go.
Hold off on booking for a month or two bc i dont think you can travel in your last trimester (although that may be a false statement...but i thought that is what someone told me) but i would def go

I will wait at least until May/June to book just in case we're lucky april/may and get a BFP.
If not-I'll book the trip for us!

4-6 months, definitely! With my last pregnancy, I felt great in the 2nd trimester, a perfect time to travel!

i would wait like 2 months to book just so that i would not be traveling in the last trimester of pregnancy, but i would definately go between 4-6 months pregnant

Absolutely! I was just at the doctor today and told her we may be going to Chicago over the summer....at that point I'll be 4-6 months and she told me it was perfectly fine.

i would definitely go. so many of my friends said they felt great after the first trimester. the only downside is the no drinking in NOLA, but that's such a small thing.
AF is late for me, and i'm going to greece in 2 months. so, i might be in a similar boat!

I know-that's one of the first things I thought...walking down bourbon street not being able to drink! BUT at least I can still enjoy all the yummy food.!
