Sort of TTC-related question
I have a GYN appt tomorrow for an annual exam. We are TTC and I am 11 DPO and I have been spotting for about 3 days. Initially I thought it might be implantation bleeding because it was really nothing (only when I wiped--sorry if TMI). I had a little more just now so I am concerned it isn't IB and is evil AF. I just came off the pill 2 months ago so my cycle isn't regular and I am not really sure when to expect it. I always thought you weren't supposed to have a pap when you had your period, so now I don't know if I should cancel because I don't even know if it is my period or if it will get heavier tomorrow. I really want to go because I want to talk to my doctor about TTC, but I also don't want to waste my time if she can't even do the pap. Plus, if I cancel tomorrow, I am afraid I will be charged for not giving notice. Any advice???

Well, if it gets heavier tomorrow can't you just call and tell them you got your period? I can't believe they would charge you for that!

I went to my gyno on 5 DPO and she said it was no problem doing a pap (wouldn't interfere with anything).
But if you have AF it might be a different story...
Why not call and ask?

I probably will call in the morning. It was too late when I tried today. But, I haven't had anymroe spotting this evening so maybe AF isn't on her way.

This just happened to me I started spotting the night before my appt. then the day of, AF came, so I just called them to let them know, and they made me reschedule, I think it happens a lot, I didn't get charged for cancelling, it is something out of our control.

I was planning to call this morning but, ironically, the dr's office called me and cancelled because the dr had a family emergency. I also stopped spotting so maybe it was implantation bleeding! I am now 12DPO. What do you think?
